Cancel a subscription

To cancel and return a recently purchased subscription, go to the Autodesk Assistant by clicking the icon in the lower right corner of any page on the Autodesk website. To prevent the renewal of an active subscription or subscriptions, turn off auto-renew in your Autodesk account. Your current subscription will be active until the expiration date. If you decide to continue your subscription, you can turn auto-renew back on again before the end date.

Important: Information about accessing your data after your subscription expires:

• Project files: You can continue to view files on your device using a free Autodesk viewer.
• Cloud storage: You can access documents stored in the cloud for 30 days after the subscription ends. After 30 days, you may lose access to any storage that was granted by the subscription.

1. Sign in to your account.
2. In Billing and Orders > Subscriptions and Contracts, select a product to open the subscription details. 
3. Scroll down to the Renewal Details section and click Turn Off for the Auto-Renew setting.
4. Follow the instructions to complete the change.
   Note: If you’ve turned off auto-renew temporarily, you must turn it back on before the expiration date to renew.

You can turn auto-renewal off for up to 100 subscriptions at once with the bulk auto-renewal feature. 

1. Sign in to your Autodesk account.
2. Under Billings and Orders > Subscriptions and Contracts, use search or filter to generate a selected list of subscriptions. 
3. From the Actions menu, select Manage Auto-Renew.
4. Choose to turn auto-renew off. 
5. Turn off auto-renew for all chosen subscriptions by selecting the checkbox at the top of the list. 
6. Select Continue and follow the on-screen instructions.

You cannot restart expired subscriptions. To renew access to software and services, buy a new subscription online.
